Agathonisi is a small, virgin island with natural beauties, small picturesque settlements and fine beaches.

The quiet life in the island, the tranquility, the hospitality of the inhabitants and the cleanness of the beaches, makes Agathonisi an ideal place for quiet and peaceful holidays.

The island is included in the Natura 2000 protected sites, as an invaluable refuge for rare birds.

Agathonisi is located at the northernmost point of the Dodecanese complex.
It is surrounded by other smaller islets (Kounelonisi, Neronisi, Stroggyli, Glaros etc.)

Agathonisi has two small villages: Mikro and Megalo Chorio where live most of islanders.

It is the biggest village of the island, which has been built in a way not visible from the sea, for protection reasons by the pirates.

The port is the place that you will find pensions, rooms to let, a lot of taverns where you can taste fresh fish and the local cuisine and a few cafes.

In the port of the island are the churches of Agios Georgios, Agios Ioannis Prodromos, and Agia Irini Chryssovalantou.
