HOW TO GET THERE
COASTALLY
By hydrofoils from Piraeus port.
The trip lasts 1.30 hour.
BY CAR
Through the Attica Road and then the National Road Athens- Corinth.
After the Isthmus of Corinth we go left to Epidavros.
We drive about 30 minutes and we reach the intersection of Epidavros.
Just before we’ ll see signs to Poros or Spetses.
Then we turn right and immediately under the bridge to the left.
We follow the new road, being careful to see the signs to Poros.
At this point we turn left and we reach through the coastal road in Galata, which is opposite Poros.
Next, following the coastal road and in half an hour or less we ‘ll reach Metochi.
Metochi is a place opposite the island of Hydra, where there enough space to leave the car and get across to Hydra by calling sea taxi.
All movement about the island is by small boats with regular services to Mandraki, Kaminia and Vlichos wheeled vehicles are forbidden.
Animals also are used for some journeys.
